Virtual Consult

Many of our patients travel a great distance to have surgery with Dr. Emil Kohan, so we understand that it may not be possible for you to come to our office for your initial consultation. We offer virtual consultations with Dr. Kohan. To schedule your virtual consultation, you must first complete our information form below and upload the appropriate photos. This information will be reviewed personally by Dr. Kohan, and there is no charge for this initial screening process. Due to high demand for this service, please allow up to 2 business days for this process. If you are a good candidate for your requested procedure, you will be contacted by our office to schedule your virtual consultation. Payment for the virtual consultation is required at the time of scheduling and is subject to the same 48-hour cancellation policy as our in-person consultations. Our office will also contact you if Dr. Kohan does not feel that you are a good candidate for the procedure you have requested. In some instances of complex or revision surgeries, Dr. Kohan may require an in-person consultation to appropriately evaluate you.

Information about Photos:

Photographs are critical in determining if you are a good candidate for surgery. It is important that you upload good quality photos that adequately demonstrate the areas of concern. You will not be considered for a virtual consultation if your photos are missing or inadequate. Below are some tips for providing good quality photos:

• Provide proper lighting.
• Photos against a solid color wall are preferred.
• The body areas need to be exposed, so you should be nude or near nude (small underwear or bikini).
• The best quality photos are taken by another person. Be very careful with "selfies" as they often have poor lighting, poor angles, or do not adequately show the areas of concern.
• Photos should be recent.
• *Titles of photos should be under 60 characters.*
• *Photo size should be under 3MB per photo.*
